This is the front range milonga you’ve heard about!

For nearly two decades, Halina Palmer has cooked a beautiful meal and hosted a milonga. THAT, my friends, is no longer happening: but we are doing our bloody best to keep the spirit of this grand event alive. Join us!

1. Generally, we will have an Argentine Tango Class, drop-in, from 5-6:30 for beginners, intermediates and advanced students, generally taught by Vanessa Stephan. Vanessa is a fantastic teacher and forever-student of Argentine Tango: work with her and it will transfer to you! $15 for the class.
2. 6:30, dinner. Generally potluck, often themed, but not always either. If you bring something, it will, however, fit in. BYOB, and we also have a small cash “bar”.
3. 7-10-pm, 65/35 traditional/alternative milonga, as defined by the DJ. DJ’ing is a performing art…and art should dazzle and take your breath sometimes, but also, challenge and convict. Know this, and learn to both dance and appreciate that which you can’t yet. That is, what life and LocoTango are for.

This is a volunteer-inspired event–and we expect nothing from our of town guests.
