We look forward to welcoming you to our Dance of the Heart (a.k.a. DOTH) approach to the mysterious, powerful world of Argentine tango social dancing!

Classes: WEDNESDAYS 7-8:30pm in the North Hall; rotating curriculum; $15 (five classes for $60)

Our focus is building expressive, musical, clever shared-movement options out of surprisingly simple elements…all for the pure pleasure of sharing the dance fully with your partners, whether you’re in a crowded milonga or you find yourself in a setting that offers the luxury of more dance space.

RESULTS: We’re very proud of our students because so many develop into popular and talented Argentine tango social dancers. After 25-plus years of tango teaching on 3 continents, in group and private lesson settings, combined with 35+ tango training trips to Buenos Aires, we’ve learned a few things about what it takes to be a popular social tango dancer! Our classes support each student to pursue the universe of endlessly fascinating Argentine tango material at your individual pace, allowing your personal style to emerge organically. Whether you come with friends, bring a partner or attend solo, DoTH classes progress in an engaging, smooth and accessible way .

Our classes feature an embedded rotating curriculum delivered in a structured yet inventive and dynamic style so that no two classes are alike. Absolute beginners through highly skilled veteran dancers take our classes repeatedly because we simultaneously introduce fresh material while reviewing and reinforcing clean basics.
