Boulder Friends of Jazz | Performing Group

Boulder Friends of Jazz Jam Session is a unique opportunity for the musical public to practice their Traditional Jazz licks with solid professional musicians. All ages are welcome. Musicians and vocalists who perform get free admission. The Jam Session is also an opportunity for dancers to show their moves on the huge dance floor. Come and have fun performing, dancing or listening. See old friends and make new friends. Members $8, Visitors $12, and students $2, Musicians free. Bring your own snacks and beverages. The Boulder Dance Coalition (BDC) is a coalition of groups and individuals that are committed to participatory art forms, such as dance, music, and singing. By far, most of our events involve dancing. We offer classes and participatory dancing in swing, contra dancing, ballroom, international folk dancing, tango, waltz, Scandinavian dancing, Israeli dancing, salsa, Celtic and English dancing, Latin dance, square dancing, African dance, tap dancing, Cajun and Zydeco dance, hula dance, clogging, belly dance, and more. We also have performing dance groups, which perform on special occasions.
