The Fundamentals of Authentic Cuban Style Salsa Dancing
This class is intended for people who have successfully completed at least three months of regular salsa classes.
This class will introduce you to all the basic concepts of partner dancing in Cuban style, also know as “Casino.” Casino is very different from other salsa styles, and is more circular in nature and often more playful.

Salsa, Level 1, “Intro to Salsa”
This class will be taught at the introductory level. No previous dance experience at all is required!
This is a four-week course, which runs on four consecutive Tuesdays from 6:00-7:15pm.
May 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd
Feel free to join in on the second week, and if you have danced a little bit before, you can join in on any week!
We will explain all of the basic and important elements of salsa dancing. After this class you will be prepared to go out and have fun dancing in the salsa nightclubs of Boulder and Denver.
We will cover:
- Intro to the Music
- Getting a feel for leading and following and staying with the music
- Basic Steps: Mambo and others
- Right Turns for the man and the woman
- Cross Body Lead
- Head combs
- Combinations using all of the above
Price for the whole month is $55, or $18 drop-in for the evening.
